59. Delegation of powers

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

The Authority may subject to such conditions as may be specified in writing, delegate to any officer of the

Authority any of the powers conferred on it by this Act or by any regulation made thereunder.

(2)

Notwithstanding any such delegation, the Authority may continue to exercise any such power so delegated.
