30. Amendmenl of Firsl Schedule by · Resolution of Parliamen1

Parliament may by Resolution amend the First

Schcduie to this Act, by adding· any substance to Table I or Table Il thereto, or omitting any drug from the aforesaid

Tables or transferring any substance from one Table to the other. in order to give effect to the changes made to

Table I and Table II of the 1988 United l"lations

Convention.

Upon the Resolution seeking to amend the Schedule .

being approved by Parliament in accordance with the

Standing Ord_ers of Parliament, the Secretary to the Ministry of the Minister shall publish a Notification in the Gazene setting out the content of the Resolution in such manner as indicates the amendment made to the Schedule.
