4. Amendment of section 4 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 4 of the principal enactment is hereby amended by the substitution, for the words “There shall be charged, levied and paid, on every semi luxury motor vehicle for”, of the words “ There shall be charged, levied and paid on every semi luxury motor vehicle (other than a semi luxury dual purpose motor vehicle or a wagon for”.

“Annual diesel motor vehicle levy.”
