3. Non-application of provision of this Act to certain institutions

The provisions of this Act shall not apply to and in relation to any bank licensed under the Banking Act, No. 30

of 1988 or any institution, other than a finance company, exempted in terms of section 76A thereof or a co-operative society registered under a Statute of a Provincial Council, or any other institution exempted from the application of this

Act by any written law for the time being in force.
