19. Retrospective effect

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The amendments made to the principal enactment by sections 10, 11 and 13 of this Act shall be deemed for all purposes to have come into force on April 1, 2000.
