1. Short title and date of operation

This Act may be cited as the Institute of Fundamental

Studies Sri Lanka, Act, No. 55 of 1981, and shall come into operation on such date as the President may appoint by

Order published in the Gazette (in this Act referred to as the “ appointed date’).
