20. Appointment of Professors, Members, Research Fellows and rules relating to them

The appointment of Professors and Members shall be made by the Board after taking into consideration the recommendations of the Council.
Research Fellows may be appointed by the Director in consultation with the Professor or'Head of the Depart-ment concerned, All such appointments shall be reported to the Board.

Rules may be made by the Board defining the privileges of the Director, Associate Directors, Deputy
Directors, Professors, Members and Research Fellows of the Institute.
