5. Insertion of section 28 in the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The following new section is hereby inserted immediately after section 27 of the principal enactment and shall have effect as section 28 of that enactment:-

28. State Land which has not been surveyed by the Surveyor-General shall not be alienated by a grant.”.
