15. Offences by bodies of persons

Where an offence under this Act is committed by a body of persons, if that body of persons is-
a body corporate, every director and officer of that body corporate; or
a firm, every partner of that firm; or
a body unincorporated other than a firm, every officer of that body responsible for its management and control, shall be deemed to be guilty of such offence :
Provided that, no such person shall be deemed to be guilty of such offence, if he proves that such offence was committed without his knowledge and that he exercised all due diligence to prevent the commission of such offence.
