16. Authorized Officers

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

For the purposes of this Act—

(a)

any Food and Drugs Inspector or Public Health

Inspector as appointed by the Minister ; and

(b)

any Polic Officer, or an Excise Officer, shall be an Authorized Officer of the Authority for the purposes of this Act.
