2. Establishment of the National Innovation Agency

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

There shall be established an Agency called and known as the “National Innovation Agency” (hereinafter referred to as the “Agency”).

(2)

The Agency shall, by the name assigned to it by subsection (1), be a body corporate and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and may sue and be sued in that name.
