13. Board of Studies

The Board of Studies of the Institute shall discharge the following functions in compliance with the policy decisions taken by the Board of Management :—
formulate programmes for training and research at the Institute ;
develop curricula and materials for courses conducted by the Institute ;
formulate and approve examination syllabuses, supervise examinations conducted by the Institute and prepare evaluation schemes relating to educational and training programmes of the
Institute ;
issue the results of examinations conducted by the
Institute subject to the approval by the Board of
Management ; and
prescribe conditions for awarding scholarships, badges and other awards.
