12. Appointment of staff

(1)

The Institute may appoint to the staff of the

Institute such officers and servants as it may deem necessary for the efficient exercise, perform and discharge of its powers, duties and functions under this Act.

(2)

The Institute may subject to the other provisions of this Act—

(a)

exercise disciplinary control of officers and servants of the Institute;

(b)

fix the wages, salaries or other remuneration of the staff; and

(c)

determine the terms and conditions of service of the officers and servants of the Institute.
