141. Rules

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

Subject to the provisions of this Act the

Authority may make rules in respect of all matters for which rules are authorized or required to be made under this Act.

(2)

Every rule made by the Authority shall be approved by the Minister and be published in the Gazette and shall come into operation on the date of its publication or on such later date as may be specified therein.
