25. Audit of Accounts

The Board shall direct the Accountant appointed in terms of section 26, to keep proper books of accounts and accounts of all income and expenditure, assets and liabilities and all other financial transactions of the Academy.

The provisions of Article 154 of the Constitution relating to the audit of accounts of public corporations shall apply to the audit of accounts of the Academy.

The financial year of the Academy shall be the calendar year.

The annual accounts of the Academy shall be prepared by the Accountant who shall cause the same to be forwarded to the Board through the Executive Director.
