Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 110 of the principal enactment is hereby amended in subsection (1) of that section as follows :—

(a)

in paragraph (b) thereof, by the substitution, for the words “ pawn or give away, or”, of the words

“pawn or give away or destroy, or”; and

(b)

in paragraph (c) thereof, by the substitution, for the words ‘“pawning, or making away”, of the words “ pawning, destroying, or making away”.
