15. Petroleum Resources Agreement or Joint Study Agreement

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

A person shall not conduct any petroleum operation in Sri Lanka, unless such person has entered into an agreement in the form of a Petroleum Resources Agreement or a Joint Study Agreement in terms of this Act.
