16. Licensing of service sub-contractors

(1)

No person shall carry on business as a petroleum operations service sub-contractor except under the authority of a license issued in that behalf by the PRDC.

(2)

Every person seeking to carry on business as a petroleum operations service sub-contracto, may apply to the

PRDC, in the prescribed form, for a license in that behalf.

(3)

The PRDC shall, on receipt of an application in terms of subsection (2) issue a license authorizing the applicant to carry on the business specified in the license, if the PRDC is satisfied that the applicant is technically qualified to carry on such business and is of good financial standing.
