32. This Act to prevail over other law

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything contained in any other written law, and accordingly, in the event of any inconsistency between the provisions of this Act and such other law, the provisions of this Act shall prevail.
