11. Offences under this Act deemed to be cognizable offences

All offences under this Act shall be deemed to be cognizable offences for the purposes of the application of the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure Act, No.15 of 1979, notwithstanding anything contained in the First

Schedule to that Act.
