8. Orders of expuision or dismissal,

Where a person is convicted of an offence under this

Act, the court may, having regard to the gravity of the offence—

(a)

in any case where the person convicted is a student of an educational institution, order that such person be expelled from such institution ;

(6)

in any case where the person convicted is a member of the staff of an educational institution, order that such person be dismissed from such educational institution.
