8. Establishment of the Public Debt Coordinating Committee

There shall be a Public Debt Coordinating
Committee appointed by the Minister (hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”) to coordinate at policy level, consisting of –
the Deputy Secretary to the Treasury who shall act as the Chairperson;
the Director-General of the department in charge of the subject of Treasury Operations of the Treasury;
the Director-General of the department in charge of the subject of Fiscal Policy of the Treasury;
the Director-General of the department in charge of the subject of External Resources of the Treasury;
the Director-General of the department in charge of the subject of National Budget of the Treasury;
the Director-General of the department in charge of the subject of Public Enterprises of the Treasury;
two officers of the Central Bank not below the rank of Director nominated by the Governor of the Central
Bank; and
the Director-General of the Office.
The Director-General of the Office shall nominate a senior officer of the Office to be the Secretary and the
Convener of the Committee.
The Committee shall meet at least once in every month.
