13. Making separate applications in respect of recognition and registration of a foreign judgment for the dissolution of a marriage, &c

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Where both parties to a foreign judgment for the dissolution or annulment of a marriage or separation of the parties to a marriage have made separate applications for the recognition and registration of the same judgment, the registering court shall consolidate both such applications and make an order in the same proceedings.
