16. Application of the Civil Procedure Code

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Service of summons, notices or any other documents relating to recognition, registration and enforcement, as the case may be, of foreign judgments under this Act shall be made in the manner provided for in Chapters VIII and XXII of the Civil Procedure Code.
