14. Assistance to a country

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The provisions of the Mutual Assistance in Civil and

Commercial Matters Act, No. 39 of 2000 shall apply in respect of providing assistance to any country as declared under section 4 of that Act for service of summons and other documents in a proceeding relating to a civil and commercial matter.
