5. Assistance of an expert

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The Court may, for the purpose of deciding any matter under this Act, call on one or more persons specially skilled in any matter relevant to the matter under consideration, for assistance.
