7. The provisions of this Act in addition to any other remedy

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The provisions of this Act shall be in addition to and not in derogation of any other right or remedy provided by any other written law or unwritten law.
