56. Rejection of an amendment to a financing statement

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

An amendment statement that does not meet the requirements imposed by this Act or any regulations made thereunder relating to the same may be rejected by the

Registrar.

(2)

In addition to the provisions of subsection (1), an amendment statement may also be rejected by the Registrar for any of the reasons specified in subsection (3) of section 49.
