19. Power of the Com-mandant to make rules

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The Commandant may, with ‘the approval. of ‘the

Board, make rules in respect of all or any of the following matters :—

(a)

‘the courses of study to be provided for pre-officer cadets by the Academy;

(b)

the service training to be provided for pre-officer cadets by the, Academy ;

(c)

the medical, welfare and recreational ‘facilities ‘to be provided for pre-officer cadets by the Academy

; and

(d)

the measures necessary for the ‘security and Protec-tion of the Academy.
