8. Eligibility for reappointment as member of the Council

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Any member of the Council appointed under paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of section 5 who vacates office, other than a member who is removed from office under section 6, shall be eligible for reappointment.
