8. Transitional provision

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The members of the Authority holding office on the day immediately preceding the date of commencement of this Act shall continue to hold office as such, until such time, the Authority is reconstituted under section 4 of the principal enactment as amended by this Act.
