13. Non compliance with the provision of the Consumer Protection Act be an offence

Every person who, being a manufacturer of or trader in, or importer or dealer of, cigarettes, cigars, beedies, cigarette substitutes or pipe tobacco fails or neglects to comply with any direction issued to him under the Consumer Protection

Act, No. 01 of 1979, shall be guilty of an offence under this

Act.
