6. General amendment to the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Wherever the words “Director, Town and Country

Planning” or “Director”, denoting the Director, Town and

Country Planning appear in the principal enactment there shall be substituted therefor the words “Director-General, National

Physical Planning” and “Director-General” respectively.
