23. Amendment of Article 111D of the Constitution

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Article 111D of the Constitution is hereby amended in paragraph (1) of that Article, by the substitution for the words “appointed by the President, subject to the approval of the Constitutional Council.”, of the words and figures

“appointed by the President subject to the provisions of

Article 41A.”.
