Udarata Development Authority of Sri Lanka Act 2005 · As enacted · Chapter I · Establishment of the Udarata Development Authority of Sri Lanka

4. Constitution of the Board of Management of the Authority

The management of the affairs of the Authority shall be vested in a Board of Management appointed by the

President (hereinafter referred to as the “Board”), which shall consist of the following :—

(a)

ex-officio members, namely-

(i)

the Secretary to the Ministry of the Minister in charge of the subject of Udarata Development ;

(ii)

an officer holding the position of the Deputy

Secretary to the Treasury of the Ministry of the Minister in charge of the subject of

Finance, nominated by such Minister ;

(iii)

an officer of the Ministry of the Minister in charge of the subject of Plantation

Infrastructure, nominated by such Minister; and

(b)

five members appointed by the President on the recommendation of the Minister, (hereinafter referred to as the “appointed members”).
