16. General amendment to the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The principal enactment is hereby amended by the substitution for the words “Court of Appeal” wherever those words appear in the principal enactment, of the words “High

Court of the Province”.
