87. Sri Lankan diplomatic mission to be the remote location outside Sri Lanka

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Where any evidence or statement of any victim of crime or witness is to be given or obtained or made from any remote location outside Sri Lanka under this Act, it shall be so given or obtained or made through contemporaneous audio-visual linkage from the Sri Lankan diplomatic mission in the country from where such evidence or statement is to be given or obtained or made.
