Part XIII · Administrators Appointment of Administrator

410. Notice of appointment of administrator

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

An administrator shall forthwith after being appointed—

(a)

give public notice of his appointment, including—

(i)

his full name ;

(ii)

the date of the appointment ;

(iii)

his office address ; and

(b)

send a copy of the public notice to the Registrar.

(2)

Where the administrator fails to comply with the requirements of this section he shall be guilty of an offence and be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand rupees.
