25. Jurisdiction

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The jurisdiction to hear, try and determine all offences under this Act shall be vested with the High Court :

Provided however that where the provisions of the

Extradition Law, No. 8 of 1977 is applicable in relation to the commission of an offence under this Act, the High Court holden at Colombo shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear, try and determine such offence.
