20. Interpretation

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires—

“Central Bank” means the Central Bank of Sri Lanka established by the Monetary Law Act ;

“Dhamma School” means a school maintained exclusively for the propagation of the Buddha Dhamma to laymen.
