8. Oversight control of Parliament

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Parliament, in the exercise of its powers under Article 43 and Article 148 of the Constitution, shall have the oversight control over the Cabinet of Ministers in the execution of its powers and responsibilities under this Act.
