17. Proper records shall be maintained

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The Commissioner-General shall maintain proper records with regard to the tax arrears and penalties written off under the provisions of sections 11, 12 and 13.
