Part IX · Annual Company Registration Levy

32. Certain companies to be exempted from payment of the levy

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the provisions of section 31, any company which is incorporated under the Companies Act, No. 7 of 2007, within the period commencing on January 1, 2016 and ending on December 31, 2016 shall not be liable to pay the levy.
