4. Removal of the Members from office

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

(1)

The Minister may remove from office any member other than an ex-officio member, for reasons assigned after an inquiry.

(2)

Every such removal shall be published in the Gazette.
