38. Amendment of the Heading to Chapter XV of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The heading of Chapter XV of the principal enactment is hereby repealed and the following heading substituted therefor :—

“PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE PAYMENT OF INCOME TAX BY A

GOVERNMENT INSTITUTION AND DEDUCTION FROM TAX ON OFFICIAL

EMOULMENTS OF ANY EMPLOYEE OF ANY GOVERNMENT

INSTITUTION.”.
