201. Cognizable and bailable offences

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

All offences under this Part shall be cognizable and bailable, within the meaning of the Code of Criminal

Procedure Act, No. 15 of 1979. The provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure Act shall apply to any offence committed under this Part.
