12. Amendment of section 38 of the principal enactment

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Section 38 of the principal enactment is hereby amended in paragraph (b) of subsection (1) thereof by the substitution for the words “a single list containing the names”, of the words, “the nomination papers containing the names”.
