37. Vessels of the hydrographic servey fleet

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

Any vessel used for the hydrographic surveying in the waters of Sri Lanka and any mechanical or non-mechanical equipment shall be approved by the Office as may be specified by the Office in accordance with the rules made in that behalf.
