43. Members, National Hydrographer, officers and employees of the Office deemed to be public servants

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

All members of the Council, the National Hydrographer and all officers and employees of the Office shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning and for the purposes of the Penal Code (Chapter 19).
