21. Seal of the Institute

Official English translation. Where it differs from the Sinhala or Tamil text, the Act itself says which text prevails.

The seal of the Institute shall be in the custody of such person as the Council may decide from time to time and may be altered in such manner as may be determined by the Council. It shall not be affixed to any instrument or document except in the presence of two members of the

Institute both of whom shall sign the instrument or document in token of their presence. The Council shall maintain a register of all documents to which the seal of the Institute is affixed.
